A successful business equals a plan

Writing a business plan gives you insight into your business. Whether this business is a new adventure or if you’ve been in it for a while. You can still benefit from a business plan. With a business plan you have a good look at your projected future, competition, finances and customers.

There are some points and steps you want to take when writing your business plan. The body of your business plan can be broken down into seven parts.

• Executive summary– The executive summary should include your objectives (could include but is not limited to a small overview of sales, personnel cost and profit). and the mission statements (is what you expect from your company)

• Company Summary– The company summary summarizes what your company does.

• Services– The services part of your business plan consist of company ownership and a start up summary

• Market Analysis Summary– The market analysis summary consists of market analysis which is a breakdown of who you are planning on serving. Who and what is your competition. Usually a chart and/or a pie is usually used in this part of the business plan.

• Strategy and Implementation Summary– This tells how you plan to succeed in your market, what gives you the edge and makes you competitive, and a sales strategy. How do you expect to put forth the numbers that you project to make.

• Management Summary– This part of the business plan tells a little about the management team and their experience/history. It also includes a breakdown of your personnel team. What you expect your payroll to be and expenses projected well into the next few years.

• Financial Plan– The financial plan is one of the most important parts of the entire business plan. This is the part most financial will consider closely when considering you for finances. In this section you should plan to use charts and tables to give a visual of your numbers. Your tables should show whether or not you plan on making a profit in the first five years. The financial plan includes but is not limited to, how much capital you have and how much capital you need to raise. A break even analysis which should include your average sales over a five year time period. Besides a yearly projection it should also include a monthly projection for the first year.

A projected balance sheet, Business ratios, and appendix should be included.

There are numerous types of software that can be used to guide you as you write your business plan.

Increasing online traffic

There are various reasons to start a website. Including showing family and friends updates or to show off your musical talents. We are going to show you numerous ways to increase website traffic.

But if you’ve made a website to get noticed and get more publicity to you or your business then you must want to increase the traffic.

Improving your listings when a person looks for something that your site provides. You can do this by popping up in the top choices. This happens if you improve your search engine results. Details of how to do this can be found below.
•    First – Hiring an SEO (search engine optimizer) firm is an option. This may to be expensive and it could take awhile to get results. You should remember it may take a little time.
•    Second– If you are dedicated with time on your hand then you can take on the job of an SEO firm. If this seems like an option to you then you want to follow a few steps. Keywords and tags must be used to your advantage. Keywords which is a phrases that is typed into an engine that’s being used. This means If you write an article telling what your company does/sells you would want to mention the specific type of computer that you sell and not just mention computers.
•     Third– Another option is to get people to come to your site by using a PPC company. If this is a method that you choose it is fairly inexpensive and simple. You would bid on keywords. If you win the bid when someone is looking for something that you sell or a service that you provide your page would come up and the customer would then go to your page. The next step is for you to pay the price that you agreed to when you bid.
•     Fourth-An automated system named Spiders indexes sites for search engines such as Google and Ask.com. You want to be ranked high with these search engines so you need to submit information about your company to them. Every search engine has a different process. Just follow the instructions. If you don’t submit your information to the site it could take them years to notice you.
•    Fifth– Word of Mouth!  Is a old way to increase traffic to your page. Not to mention it’s pretty cheap and very effective. It’s natural to tell someone whenever you have a good experience. This is what you want so tell your visitors that you give away free items if they refer people to your site. Let them know that if the referred person becomes a customer that you will give them something.
•    Sixth– Link to well known sites and this doesn’t cost anything but, the traffic that you could pick up is astounding.
•    Seventh– Starting an affiliate program and begin to recruit. The first step in this is to buy tracking software. And get other sites to link to yours. Set a commission to pay those sites whenever someone from their page comes to you. And begin to recruit!
•    Eight– Email blast everyone who has left you their email address and those who already frequent your page.

Facelift for Twitter

If your an active using the social media site Twitter you may have noticed the ability to upgrade to the most recent version of Twitter.   If you have already accepted you already may have noticed the new features giving users more flexibility to upload photos, videos and other media content plus gives you the ability to discover new content or additional information  within a few clicks.

Even with all the new features and look of Twitter you still have many of the same easy access controls that came with the older version so there is some similarity  so you won’t have to worry about learning a bunch of new feature and completely new interface.

One of the first things you will note about the new improved Twitter is the expanded view of your tweets plus the expanded view of following, followers and trends section.   Another new feature is the easy access search bar located at the top of the screen which is great for quick access to search for topics of interest.   Of course with the new version you still can only type in a maximum of 140 characters which most full time users of Twitter are use to at this point.

In my option I like the new features and new look of Twitter.   I like the new changes and how they have opened up the page now and added the easy to use search bar plus the easy way to add pictures, video plus other media.  Of course it may not matter to everyone since many people like to us Twitter via Mobile phones and not using a computer much but it is a nice face change to Twitter.

So what’s you option:  Do you like the new face of Twitter?  Do you  have a favorite feature?
